What made you buy this car?

I have wanted an Astra VXR ever since I was young and could never insure one until about 6 months ago. Except having this car on the road for less than a day it melted a piston.. nevertheless the engine was taken out and given to someone to be built with new OEM pistons etc. Came back and then lasted only 1600 miles before putting a massive crack down the whole of a cylinder. This is when I decided to build it properly with all the new uprated internals and carried out all the work myself.

Best modification and why?

Vary's between the turbo or the big wang. The turbo makes a complete difference to the car but in my eyes the looks of an astra with a big wing really turns some peoples heads !
